36" DOOR SECURITY BAR INSWING
Single Inswing Door w/ Metal Frame
This model security bar is for a single inswing door with a hollow metal door frame.
Standard Door Sizes: Bar fits all size doors, maximum 48” wide.
Package includes: One 1¼” square tubing finished with electrostatic powder coating. A red LIFT UP decal. A tsick-on caution sign reading “CAUTION This door to remain unlocked during occupancy”, a storing bracket and our most important Exit Security “STEEL GRIP”. Included is a locking receiver, locking cradle, two bolts, two barrel nuts, placement tool, two plastic hole plugs and a set of three shock absorbers. With our easy-to-do instruction sheet, installation will be a breeze.
Installation: No door preparation is required. No special tools are needed. Instruction sheet was designed for a quick and simple installation. Please allow a 15 to 20 minute installation time for your first time. Tools needed include, electric drill, drill bits, phillips head screwdriver, hacksaw, tape measure and pencil.
Building and fire codes: Customers should always comply with your local building codes. We feel our bar is emergency sensitive and it requires no special knowledge or effort to remove. Note that you are able to lock bar in storing bracket with padlock (not included). That is, you can lock it in the unlocked position.
Actual length of the 1¼ “ bar: 50½” long.
Model Number: SB-03-UV48. The 03 stands for inswing door with hollow metal frame. UV stands for universal. 48 stands for the maximum width of your door. It's a universal bar (door width up to maximum 48”).
